I feel like I haven't contributed enough to such a great thread...mostly because I end up forgetting to change my settings when I'm exploring. Well, this weekend I made it happen. Hope you enjoy!

Thank You! Always wondered who sculpted it and left it behind. Looks like some idiot kid took a lighter to its legs.

Hey all, I have ben getting better about remembering to switch color settings while exploring, and came up with some more B&W's. These first six are from one of my most favorite places to explore...

1. It's kinda mundane, but I like the butterflies.

2. I love "through the broken window" shots; I think this one came out pretty decent. NOTE: I know what it looks like at first glance, but that's not vandalism...it's a hopscotch grid. Not sure why they chose that shape...

6. My lens was fogging a bit; made for a rather cool effect.

7. This is the Linn Cove Viaduct Bridge on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The rest of these were taken a couple years ago at Pilot Mtn. State Park.

10.

11. The city of Winston Salem; about a 30-40 minute drive from the mountain.
