Let's talk Duluth

What's up guys? I'm pretty new to this site, just waited my three days before posting. This is the only Urbex forum site that is still active that I could find!

I've been urban exploring for a few years, the last two of which have been in Duluth, MN. So far I've been to Ely's Peak, a few of the drainage tunnels, climbed the Chester Bowl ski lifts and just last week I made two trips across the bridge to the Allouez Bay ore docks. I have tons of pictures and if anyone is interested I'll find a way to share them.

I've noticed most of the MN threads here are focused on the Twin Cities, but I thought I'd reach out to see if there are any other Duluth explorers!

I love Duluth and the North Shore! Unfortunately I havent gotten to do much exploring up that way. Whenever I'm up there I'm usually kayaking or fishing or long boarding. I'd love to see some pics, you can just post them right on this thread if you want! Welcome to UER!

duluth is great. I want to get up there sometime this summer.

If you want to protect the locations you love to explore, don't talk about them online in public!
If you want to make exploring friends, send people private messages! Meet up in real life! Get off the internet!
Don't try to have a UER e-penis! You won't impress anyone! This especially means you, Minneapolis MN newbies!

Good call! If you haven't seen the spots I mentioned in the original post, I highly recommend them. If you have, I hope you find some new ones!

Theres some stuff up near two harbors that I'd like to do this summer.

Know anywhere up there, near the lake, where we could leave a car for the weekend....without it being towed/fucked with?

You could probably get away with one of the hotel parking lots or maybe by the lighthouse. Every time I've been up there I just parked anywhere without thinking. Any of the parking areas along the Superior Hiking Trail are open to overnight parking and pretty safe as well, but that's a few miles North of town.

Did it warm-up there yet? (Hi.) The others are well hidden. ;)

Duluth sucks; they gave me my only parking ticket. I'm kidding, well kinda. heh

I had a great time there last autumn and I hope to journey back there again, although maybe when there's less wind, rain, and cold.

We've had fantastic weather the past few days! Even hit 70s on Saturday.

I heard those ore docks are cool. Even better than the one demolished in Ashland. I'm up for a Duluth trip this summer.

Pick me up on your way!

I've been talking with a friend about a duluth trip this summer. So much awesome stuff up there! I'll definitely get up there at some point. So far I've only explored around duluth in the winter and that gets old quick, haha.
