I recently found this one and really love it: http://detroiturbex.com/content/ It's not just stuffed with pictures, it contains a great deal of information about the places too. Also, many buildings you don't see many photos of, hard to get into places etc. Restoration projects are photographed. To top it off, awesome then and now photos! It's the whole package about detroit.

Always loved this guy's stuff. He used to have a website but that name is taken by some other unrelated photographer now. https://www.flickr...otos/30810683@N02/ Suddenly, back in 08 he just seemed to have dropped off the face of the earth, haven't seen or head of them since. Did some really great photos and historical write-ups on their site though.
Every building and site has a story, and they are often of mistakes. Learn from them before they are gone forever. |

ontarioabandonedplaces.com has some overlap with this site's location DB, but many galleries unique to that site. I've posted some of my stuff from UER on there recently, but have a crap quality gallery I didn't bother reposting here.
One day I got a good camera. https://www.flickr...hotos/fleetsurbex/ |

Two of my favorites from neighboring states here in the US of A: http://abandonedok.com and; http://abandonedar.com Abandoned AR is a spinoff of the OK version - one or a couple of the original OK group moved eastward and thus, another awesome site was born.

http://www.atlasob...tegories/abandoned This is the abandoned section of a larger website. From their About Us page: In an age where everything seems to have been explored and there is nothing new to be found, we celebrate a different way of looking at the world. If you're searching for miniature cities, glass flowers, books bound in human skin, gigantic flaming holes in the ground, bone churches, balancing pagodas, or homes built entirely out of paper, the Atlas Obscura is where you'll find them.

Don't forget about Abandoned But Not Forgotten (http://abnf.co) It is a pretty cool gallery with lots of different places sorted by the states in the US that they are from. The site is maintained by one person and unfortunately the owner does not update very often or disclose locations but it is still very interesting to view.
Are we living a life that is safe from harm? Of course not, we never are. But that's not the right question. The question is, are we living a life that is worth the harm? |

Okay, here's some other ones... These first two are incredibly aesthetic to me:
I like these next ones for info gathering, good narrative, and are just solid blogs and/or websites in my book:
I just discovered this one a couple days ago. Slightly quirky, but in a good way:
There are so many good ones out there, it's hard to narrow it down.
