After finding out South Street Hospital was going to be demolished, my Grandfather decided to take me on a trip to say goodbye to the place where all four of his children were born. We had free-reign of the main floor of the hospital, and had a wonderful chat with the sole security guard on duty. He was very nice and allowed us to walk around as we pleased. There were still a few services running in the hospital so we couldn't go everywhere, but I thought I'd share what little photos I did get.
This hospital was the star of several arrests after it was decommissioned, but I was lucky enough to go before it was officially closed for good. I unfortunately didn't make it to the Doors Open event in 2011.
