Recently, I was fortunate enough to be invited along on a trip to Detroit with Relik to hang out with a bunch of really awesome folks. Many thanks go out to all the people who made it happen.
As we were leaving a spot, we saw quite a bit of smoke in the air. Naturally, we headed that way.
Arriving only moments before the fire department, we found a pretty intense scene. At first, it seemed like the folks in the neighborhood weren't really paying much attention, almost as if they have become sort of numb to burning houses. As we got closer though, the fury became a little more obvious. Several people were out on their porches, more were coming down the street to see, and one big older gal was on her porch in her underwear, seemingly stuck in a state of confusion. The neighbors were hollering for her to get out of there as her house (only 2 doors down from the main blaze) looked to be approaching its own combustion.
Being from where I am, I've seen a couple house fires before but never anything quite like this. It was incredible and so sad at the same time.
I know this isn't entirely UE related. I hope that's okay. Also, I apologize for my video editing sucks.
