[edit] I have actually scaled back a lot on account of my job. Though I can hide the deportation from my school, the B&E is a little bit harder to hide.
I also wanted to kind of chime in on the 'career' portion. I think for some people it isn't worth the risk because they have a career, and not a job. For most people, it might not be the same.. but there isn't anything enjoyable enough to risk teaching. It isn't just a job for me. It is a career, a passion, a calling, and a bunch of other lame ass words. Not everyone is in that position, so it is really a matter of "to each their own."

Yup. Lol.
And yes, even though I am very happy with my job, I do long for the days of unemployment when I could have been doing unlimited urbex across all states instead of haplessly wandering to find a useless career in graphic design.

I'm a union electrician. The risk of losing my job because of a trespassing ticket is pretty much nonexistent. If by some stretch of the imagination I DID, then I would just go to the hall, sign the book and pick up the next job no questions asked.
My membership in the union does keep me from doing a lot downtown, though. One of my brothers from the apprenticeship works for a company that has a contract to do the security, access control, and surveillance installations for Dan Gilbert and ALL his properties, which are plentiful and continue to grow in number in downtown Detroit. I doubt getting caught sneaking around in one of the buildings they are contracted to would ever keep me from picking up another call for that company in the future, it's more the principle that I'm not going to put my friends work to the test.
