This is why we dont park in front of locations generally. Cool to see this video as i grew up in Banning right next door. Lived in Beaughmont for a year when i was like 5.

This is by far the most common reason explorers get caught.

Nicely handled. My technique of choice is to walk up to the "heat" with my camera in hand, a smile, and a friendly attitude. It has always gotten me out of a jam.
There's a guy south of town who owns one of the old mines. He's a cantankerous old coot with huge No Trespassing signs all over his property. I was hoping to take a look around but as I rolled up on the mine site, out he came. I parked my truck, got out, and slowly walked up to him. After the expected, "This is all private property. You have to turn around and leave." we ended up talking for close to two hours. I found out the story of the mine, what he did for a living, and what kind of guns he likes. I left with an invitation to visit his property any time I wanted whether he was there or not.
Sometimes it's beneficial to be nice to folks.

Thank you Abby. Running or hiding once they know for sure are there, pisses them off. I think it turns security cops on..they get to chase and call it in etc. And yes, I shouldn't have parked so obviously. They were on me quick!
