Sup guys! New to the forum, I'm from the Fox Valley area in WI. I'm fairly new to the concept of exploring abandoned places, such that I've missed out on a bunch of cool places in the area that have been torn down over the last few years. Now I'm trying to make up for lost time in that regard haha. I think a good intro would be just posting pictures from the first big place I was able to explore, so without further ado... The Mall My friend and I came across this place completely by accident (at night, no less) a few months ago and decided to get inside right then. My camera had problems due to the cold, so I only got a few B&W shots. We later returned during the day, when I took the rest of the pictures. --------------------------------- There she lies.
Apparently one of the truck docks.
All the exterior doors are locked and bolted.
Here is where I began to regret only bringing 100 ISO film, and no tripod...
Preparing.
The floor was kinda crunchy in here.
From this point onward it was pretty much pitch black.
Almost dropped my camera down this.
These pictures are from the first visit.
This place is creepy at night...
Aquamarine kitchen?
"Dude! There's TAMPONS!"
I didn't realize there was an accessible second floor until the second visit.
The hanging room.
Traversing the debris filled stairwell.
Most of the storefronts are trashed.
Full circle.
Until next time. Hope you enjoyed the album!

I also used a mall as my "hello- I am here!" thread. http://www.uer.ca/...urrpage=1&pp#post0 wow.... that brings back some memories... (links are dead now due to photobucket's format change) welcome to the forums and enjoy!
When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. | |
I haven't seen that spot posted in a while! I've been debating a return trip, but i hear rumors of security (from the strip-mall across the street) watching it, and i knew a kid that got caught by said security last year.. Welcome! Nice to see another Wisconsin local!

I locked my car keys in my trunk there, a few years ago. Cool spot, good to know it's doable, again. Real tempting, now...

It was a lot easier when the major store was still in business.. We'd just park next to all the customers and walk on in. Heh. If you do ever make a trip to Wisconsin, you better hit me up!

Welcome to the boards. As for Tampons, found a whole stash of them at an old foundry once.

Welcome to another Wisconsite! Awesome photos. I'd love to explore an abandoned mall someday.
