This past weekend, my friend IceBurgess and I found our way up onto a block of connected rooftops downtown in our city. Apologies for the quality on most of them, my main goal wasn't photography that day and I took these on my phone on the move. 1. Photographer and Brick by Nick Pryor, on Flickr 2. 201 looks so silly there next to the Jeff. Love the different perspectives on downtown throughout the set, though, and your black and white ones are quite nice. Looks like a good time ...I do not envy you the temperature of this endeavor if it was at any point in the last two or three weeks though.

I personally hate the look of 201, should have made it entirely glass. Temperature actually wasn't too bad in the afternoon, in the mid 20s. We returned at night to the other side and that's when we nearly froze to death.

Not a fan of a lot of the new development that's happening, myself. x.O (and by not a fan I mean I resent it mightily) (/cranky townie /didn't even grow up here). JFC I can't wait for winter to break.

Awesome shots, as usual. So excited about this latest rooftop.

I'm not sure how I feel about all of this development - I love the close, small-town feel but at the same time there isn't much to dislike about a few skyscrapers downtown, especially since views are fantastic. What I do disagree with is the demolition of classic, beautiful, and historical buildings to make way for ugly residences and corporate facilities and businesses. And this crazily prolonged winter is slowly killing me. Hoorah for six inches of snow tomorrow and a possible foot this weekend.
