Great spot! I love places like this that have almost no cleanup done to them!
I'm here for a good time not a long time. |

Okay. Charity Hospital. Holy fucking shit. How? I'm at such a loss of words. MAJOR props, dude!

I bought the Big Charity DVD because of this thread. Amazing.
Everyone has a dark side, mines just a little more illuminated. |

Thanks for checking out the dvd. I know the guy who made the documentary. Bad timing for him, he moved to New Orleans from Atlanta the day before Katrina hit. It's a real sad tale. It has since been cleaned out

Thanks but this was from when I was a lot younger. Only 4 years ago.

Yeah but still. You went at a time when I was begging the group I was with to go. So who knows, maybe we could have made it. Charity is the only place here I haven't gotten into yet, besides our World Trade Center building. I envy you... I wish I could see what you saw. So definitely, thank you and massive props on your work.

I'm not sure about that one. I feel like you're referring to the Joy Theater (cuz it's red inside),and if you are, then yes. Last I checked about it was still abandoned, but that was a year ago. I ran across you on Flickr.

Ahhh yes, I know what you're talking about. They restored the theater and built something new along with it. A new school, by any wager.

Power plant is is still a pretty big spot. It's really one of the three biggest spots, here.

Nah, I haven't objectively done live plants. Not really my thing. If i'm not shooting abandoned stuff, I usually just see what I can catch the neighborhood birds doing. I do glamour shots for my black cat, Furball, too. I want to start a new photo adventure going around catching New Orleans' abandoned pay phone booths. I like the idea.

The shadow you made on the wall of the auditorium is hilarious.

Still timeless.
