Infiltration

Ed and I got home from Ontario early this week, but I've been so busy lately that I haven't posted much. I kidnapped one of my best friends and took her back to Virginia with me.

We did a bit of exploring up in Canada. Met up with Detroit again, and met Mutt for the first time. Mutt showed us the Foymount place which was really cool. Ed and I didn't have any of our gear with us because it was all at a friend's place (who was supposed to come with us but changed plans at the last minute) so we were without flashlights and I didn't have a camera. Mutt and Detroit helped us out though, Detroit let me use one of his cameras which was really nice of him.

I got to show Ed the DND radio tower building and the old house where some family was murdered. Oldies but goodies. Those two places have been two of my favorite sites since I was about fifteen years old.

Today my friend and I were driving through Norfolk and found two abandoned buildings. The first place was a large old building downtown, and the second was an abandoned apartment building that was pretty neat. I took some pictures inside but I didn't want to venture too far inside the building alone (my friend was outside, she was my lookout) because it was located in a pretty bad neighbourhood. I just took a few quick pictures and went back to the car where some little kid with an afro asked me for fifty cents.

So I've got a lot of exploring done lately, and it's satisfying. It's been raining a lot, and I dyed my hair bright cartoon-red and orange. I look like a fireball.
