Country Road, Take Me Home...(Pic Heavy)

I've been exploring my local area a bit more, being blessed to live in the heart of the country. My town is miles away from the nearest city in all directions, leaving a lot of open space for beautiful abandoned gems.

Exploring the past week or so, my roommate and I decided to explore the wilderness and found a handful of beautiful homes where the history was lost among the overgrown weeds.

The country is gorgeous, I moved from a big city so the atmosphere is really nice.

Sad note! Did someone stage a suicide or did one actually take place here?

A noose would not be left up in the case of an actual suicide. Much easier to get the body down by cutting the rope. This is just some kids goofing off. Poorly tied too.

Cool places.

I'm not sure, the records of the house were lost. So maybe? Nah, that's my roommate. I'm the one in the Abbey Road shirt. Thanks!

The place with the noose and the place with the note are two separate homes. The noose was a joke with an outline of a body in marker nearby. As for the note, no idea if it's real or not.
