Last Sunday, I got to visit "Club 219" in Milwaukee, an old Gay Bar that closed in 2005. It was best known for being the bar where Jeffrey Dahmer picked up many of his victims. As of now, the building is NOT abandoned and is being renovated, but I know the owner so he let me see it and snap a few pictures before they turned it into apartments. It was very dark, so most of my pictures didn't turn out. Here are some of the pictures that did turn out:
Here was the Basement of the bar:
On the main floor there were two bar areas, as well as a stage in the middle of the bar. Here is the stage: Here was the front bar area:
Here is the back bar area:
There was also some interesting graffiti inside the dressing rooms behind the stage.
I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did

Cool history on this one!

Cool stuff. Definitely something we havent seen before. Would love to see it in person before it's gone.
If you want to protect the locations you love to explore, don't talk about them online in public! If you want to make exploring friends, send people private messages! Meet up in real life! Get off the internet! Don't try to have a UER e-penis! You won't impress anyone! This especially means you, Minneapolis MN newbies! | |
Great place, thanks for sharing. What a shit-hole.

Oooh. I'm glad you were able to get in and take these photos while you could! Thanks for posting them =].

At one time I was a member of Gallery 218, which was across the street. Never ventured in the place. I heard the owner of the building and the one's next to it was asking a pretty hefty sum. Either he caved in or someone ponyed up.

Great find! This place has some history, which is really cool.
