4. This is a gun butt, this would have been mostly covered in dirt, and used to sight the guns on a war plane

Interesting, looks like it follows the WWII RCAF pattern just like the ones on the prairies. I like shot #10 a lot; concrete walls half painted hospital-green and falling asbestos tiles.

Very, very cool. I love these old constructs. Haven't got many down here, but up north the hills are alive with the sound of. . . empty concrete bunkers. . .
