More snaps from the power station after I took some friends there a couple weekends ago.

Ground level.

Second level.

Second level window.

Dad fetish?

Looking up.

Ground level.

Stairs in the office section.

Exterior: office section.

ENTER THE VOID.

THE VOID.

Ocean views.

Very cool! I wish the power plants around me were still here. Never got a chance to see any of them

Nice graffiti too!

Thanks Ed! While it's an amazing place, it's actually not as fun as it used to be. They recently cut down the stairs that provided rooftop access. The worst part is they left them lying on the ground right below the hole in the ceiling to tease us . You could almost see the Bon Scott statue from the roof!

Thanks dude! The hugeness of power stations is always amazing. There's another one in Perth that has had a partial restoration, but now just sits empty. Much tighter security there though. They light it up at night which is pretty.

Thanks! I ain't gonna win any awards for photography with my little Sony point n shoot, but I think they get the location across ok.

Thankfully, apart from one dicey bridge between upstairs sections, this place is mostly concrete floors. But that one bridge is pretty scary. There's also a floating bathroom, where the floor around it has been demolished, but you can cross a metre gap about 2 storeys up to get in there.

Awesome place. Looks a little like the old power station that was here and now demolished
