I'd like to know what people think of this idea, and whether anyone has tried it. That is, to contact the owner of a site and suggest that they allow a specific group of vetted explorers to enter the site at their own risk in exchange for a donation to a charity (or to the owner if it is a nonprofit). It might be some compensation to the owner for going to the site and unlocking a door and perhaps monitoring what we do. Re: sites that aren't posted "No Trespassing" but can't be entered without using force. So far, in talking to owners without any good reason to offer for their cooperation, I've had one hit and one miss. Your thoughts and experiences? Thanks.

Im most cases I think you would have better luck asking to have sex with the property owners wife in exchange for a donation to a charity... Here in Massachusetts the insurance and liability is so high for something like that , that you wouldnt get the first 3 words out of your mouth before you got a universal no
Noble idea you have , but in todays law suit happy world, your going to get far more no's than yes's..

9................., yea, Mike is right on about this. You can sign all the waivers you want to put the location owner at ease...doesn't matter. If someone gets hurt and a sharp shyster can prove the tiniest bit of negligence on the owners part..YOU CAN COLLECT in MA.

Liability will go up, money changes things. You could however go into with the intention of wanting photographic material and in exchange for being allowed access giving them a nice framed print.
