Steam Tunnels Under BGSU

A couple weeks ago, while walking home from a friend's house, I found an open entrance to the steam tunnels underneath my university. I went home, got my exploring gear, and went back to my friends house so we could explore the steam tunnels. The tunnels travel all over campus, underneath the sidewalks, connecting all of the buildings. Inside the tunnels it was about 45 degrees Celsius, or 113 Fahrenheit so we were getting dehydrated pretty quickly. As we were about to leave, some people who worked for the university came and were trying to close the tunnel entrance. We decided to look around some more for another entrance, but eventually we came back and were able to get the original one open.

Oooh, I once spent a week on this campus for a juggling conference. Now I want to go back! Cool video. Could do with being edited down a bit though.

Oh cool! Do you know Mike Conrad? He's in charge of juggling club here. Also, thanks for he advice. The original footage was about 30 minutes. I'll see if I can do more next time.

Yes, I know him! Not well, but I've met him!

Sweet video. I hit up the OSU tunnels when I was there and it was hours of late night fun. I took some videos and pictures but they never seemed to turn out nearly as well as yours.

I always spent so much time in the sub basements and storage areas finding the craziest stuff. And definitely watch out for those temperatures, upon finding a thermometer down there in a "cool" area I was surprised to see it was above 100F!
