In the Middle of town...

Me and the girlfriend found this gem just a hour north of us one day, scoped it out and then instead of sleeping one day because I work nights we decided we will sleep enough when we die and we made the trip. We got photo happy and took 160 pictures. Here is a few...A second trip is a must tho seeing we forgot our headlamps and half the building is dark as hell...

True Dat.

Dare2Hide, it's hard to give a fuck when the original poster didn't give enough of a fuck to post decent sized photos or even rotate them. If you want people to care about your threads, put a little more effort into them.

Its hard too put the effort into them that you refer too when I don't have the programs people use, this is my first time doing any of this and every online editing software I used wouldn't work for my photos and the one that did wouldn't make the photos any other size then this one. So fuck u and the horse u rode in on. You say I don't give a fuck about posting things right? Spent 4 hrs trying to sort thru programs to make these fit this stupid 100k limit. You say I don't care? I am sorry your stuck up just cuz u know what u r doing! Everyone starts out somewhere and no one is perfect there first time! Get a grip!

No need to throw a hissy fit. I'm just telling you why no one is bothering to post in your thread. If you want people to respond, make a thread people are going to want to respond to. If you don't know what you're doing and need help, that's fine. Just ask for help. You don't need fancy programs to get your photos looking halfway decent for a thread.

You can rotate photos in windows picture viewer if you're using windows. Otherwise you could use gimp, which is free, to both resize and rotate plus more. Don't bother attaching your photos to threads. It's far easier to upload them somewhere and post them, especially because I'm pretty sure the forum will automatically resize them if they're too large. You should consider getting a flickr for uploading photos, they offer a terabyte of free space. Otherwise, imgur is a decent option if you don't wish to register anywhere. Hope that helps.

well now that should have been your first comment not what was originally put. And I woulda said, why thanks for the advice, I will look into thos things and check them out. The photos weren't flipped sideways until I uploaded them on this website. I tried the online editing site u refer too and it wouldn't work for my pictures. It said they were too big and couldn't be edited. I don't have a flicker but have a fb page that ive posted things and it seems to work well. I have a pinterest I use as well but never thought of that one. Thanks

Im nice until I feel someone is just being rude, then ill be rude back.

No, that is not how my original post should have gone. I worded my post exactly how I wanted it worded and I would not change it. You did not state you needed help. You complained that no one had responded and so I told you why. You say you respond to people in the manner in which they speak to you, that is all I have done. Give attitude and whine that no one is commenting on your poorly put together thread and you'll get attitude back... ask for help and you will get help. I wasn't being rude, I simply responded to your confusion using the language that was already made relevant to the thread.

Also, I didn't refer any online editing site... I referred a program that you can download for free. I'm not sure if that program can edit RAW files but even if it can't I'm pretty sure most cameras come with a simple editing program to convert your RAW files and do simple edits like rotations and stuff.

Gimp is also a good option to use if you want the power of Photoshop, but don't want to pay the price for it. I love it, pretty easy to use too.

Who's got two thumbs[1] and is an entitled fuckwit? ^^^ THAT GUY!!! ^^^

I'm REALLY sorry[3] your feelings got hurt, but here's the thing: No one gives a shit about you until you give us a reason to. And right now, the impression you're giving is a whiny, entitled, fuck-tard.[4] You know what I do when I post something and it gets ignored? I move on with my life, I don't cry about it on the internet and then lash out at everyone who doesn't immediately start sucking my cock.

Chill out. Try again with the tools Dawn Patrol gave you before you started frothing over your keyboard in your demented Tard Rage.

Or don't, I actually couldn't care very much less, I'm just amusing myself, at this point.

----
[1] I realize I'm making an assumption, here, about the number of thumbs you have. I don't know, now that I think about it you might actually have seven. It's more about the figure of speech than the actual number of thumbs I think you may or may not have, but I hear weird things can happen when siblings have kids, so I figure anything's possible...)

[2] What I'm doing here: Can you see it?

[3] I'm not, actually. No.

[4] Whereas the impression I'm giving is (if I'm being honest) a little overly hostile, but I haven't had my coffee yet and I sort of got on a roll here.[5]

[5] Like, seriously. I busted out the motherfucking FOOTNOTES now. WHO DOES THAT???[6]

[6] <<< THIS GUY!!!

On the one hand, I want to be sympathetic, but on the other hand, I go to google and type in "free image editor" and get this -

And then my sympathy pretty much vanishes.

Arguing with the regional locals is a sure way to earn your brownie points. This guy will get far on teh UER!

If you want to protect the locations you love to explore, don't talk about them online in public!
If you want to make exploring friends, send people private messages! Meet up in real life! Get off the internet!
Don't try to have a UER e-penis! You won't impress anyone! This especially means you, Minneapolis MN newbies!
