Stumbled across this during some research into Detroit. Stories like this give me faith that Detroit can turn itself around and one day be known as something other than the crime ridden city it is now.

Normally I try not to feed Buzzfeed for their blatant misuse of photographer's work, but I'll give this article a pass. It was really well done and the everyday life photos really highlighted the piece. Thanks for sharing this one.
