Remants of a flood

This is more like suburban exploration and the buildings have collapsed, but I figured it was worth exploring anyway. This area was flooded a few years back. After the water receded, most of the houses surrounding the creek were damaged. Since this is a small side road, they only removed the houses that were visible from the main road. Just add a locked gate, leave a road work sign up, and ignore the place.

There were two remaining houses that were not demolished. These two houses collapsed by themselves.

1. Tire Swing

One of the many reminders that these two houses were owned by families with kids. Both houses have old kids toys left behind in the rubble.

2. Pipes and Utilities

3. Collapsed House

This is the smaller of the two houses. I looked at both houses, but forgot to take pictures of the second.

4. Shed

There is a shed behind the two houses. I had to get closer just so I could figure out what that white blob was.

5. Creepy doll

A doll covered in foam or something. Definitely not creepy.

6.

The new visitors really care about the place.

7. I listen well

8. Driveway

9. Anyone home?

Only the foundations remain of the houses within sight of the main road.

10. Abandoned Road

The whole road had ant hills in every crack.
