Weekend GA trip (low on images!)

I hadn't been to Georgia in five years, had some artwork to deliver so used it as an excuse to hike down and see some old friends.

1. On the way to Athens, stumbled across this old church. Not sure if it used to have a steeple, I'm guessing the entire roof was replaced at some point.

2.

3. I wasn't aware this building has been shut down and slated for demolition but I'd love to figure access someday. Might have to figure a legal way of doing so.

4. A fellow explorer turned me on to a few spots in Atlanta and I got to check out a couple. If you're reading this, thank you. I'm assuming you're all familiar with these spots so I won't bother waxing poetic about them.

5.

6.

Looks like you got to some good spots! I also would love to get into #3, but you're right, the only way would be to do so with permission.

Nice long exposure on #3, and slated to be demolished? They shoot movies in there all the time, I'm surprised they would give up such an easy source of revenue.

Very nice shots!! I'll be swinging by 4-6 this weekend. Excited about going back to 5 now that I have my new camera

The only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullshit story you keep telling yourself as to why you can't achieve it.

Sucks that I missed you when the one time you are in town. Maybe we can come up to your part of the country in September. Did you get into the other gym at that location?

Y'all are always welcome up I know September is typically busy but let me know at least a couple weeks ahead of time, that would be awesome.

Yeah I went through the entire other building but didn't see any shots I wanted to take. Some of it was just due to lighting I think the basketball court with track above would've been good. Was still near to just see.

Amishdelight the information I read said it's been slated for demo since 2011 but they don't have funds to tear it down. My guess is they'll take whatever income they can get for now.
