I think my monitor is miscalibrated - so please tell me which of these images look better to you. I think the problem is that my monitor is low contrast, which results in some pictures looking way too saturated on other screens with more contrast. There will always be some difference between screens, but I'm getting really wild deviations. Perhaps my screen is the the one out of the norm. So I'd like your input on it if possible! I would post this on the "other" forum, but I'm not a full member. So thanks! P.s. these images are from a trip I made recently - there's a link to the whole thing in my signature.

The Durango '95 purred away a real horrowshow - a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts. And soon it was trees and dark, my brothers, with real country dark. |

I like #2. ....Also the second picture looks better.

#2, bro. #1 is WAY oversaturated, and I'm the fucking KING of oversaturation!
"Are you happy now with all the choices you've made?" "Are there times in life when you know you should've stayed?" "Will you compromise and then realize the price is too much to pay?" "Winners and losers... which one will you be today?" ***Social Distortion*** |

You should also stop using UER for image hosting because the algorithm behind it is bastardised from 2002 and will strip any relevant ICC information used by modern browsers, also compressing to shit, creating moire patterns where they weren't before, and not scaling correctly.

That's the thing, it doesn't look so saturated on my monitor. I guess I should stop using it for editing.

You can set a custom color profile on your computer and make adjustments accordingly. I have mine calibrated to my printing lab for example.

Yeah, I know. I tried it, but the results were not consistent. I think my panel is just not very good - I'll get a nice IPS screen probably. The tragedy is that the pictures really look beautiful on my end, and only I can enjoy them like they're suppose to be.

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |

Ok, I've been studying these photos since you first posted them and I've finally made my decision. I think they both look good.
