Walked along the tracks to a place I had wanted to check out. It's pretty open and visible, but I didn't expect too many people to be out today. I don't know much about the process of refining ore. My guess is that this structure was used for direct reduction in processing steel. 1. The hike out

Gotta agree with you... it was really shitty. Took me 4 hours to locate my kids on a stranded school bus 2 miles away... then 5 hours to trudge there and back with a pack of around 20 kids in tow (on the trip back) add another 2 hours trying to deliver each kid to their respective homes in our community... but most parents were not there Even though it might've been more fun, to tie each kid to the a tree in front of their house... ...we literally had over 20 kids in our house for another 10+ hours as each family worked their way to our mc-mansion. Last kid left over 20 hours later when her mother finally arrived - on foot. But it's over now. We lived. We survived. We thrived... on hotdogs, hamburgers, bologne, milk, soda, and twinkies... the sweetest come back. ever.

I walked... following the bus route bus until I came across the stranded bus... unable to get over a hill - along with 20 or so cars. The bus driver (who I know) released the kids to me... and we trudged home... one home at a time. But as said... a lot of kids spent the night at our house. We had fun though... the kids will always remember it.
