House Hunting... Millionaires and Squatters

You never know what you will find... A party mansion. A forgotten American dream. Squatters. A case of rezoning. A plantation house. And the mysterious disappearance. (a combination of photography and crappy quick snaps)

A party mansion, the house the party broke.

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store.

You know what, it's all good, but for some reason #14 just did it for me. I'm having a smoke...

Great shots. Is the party mansion boring besides the pool room?

Thanks so much, and I agree... Houses are fun. I just wish I could find some farm houses with curtains and furniture and clothes in the closet. I see people find them all the time, but I can't find them near me

I wouldn't claim to know what you think is boring... If you don't like the chandelier/stairs or the badass bathtub and it's perfect lighting... Then yes, you would probably think the rest of it was boring. But it doesn't matter since it's under renovation and being stripped so they can fix the faulty foundation and leaning walls of the poured concrete that hold the weight of the pool in the basement. I would be willing to bet it's all gone by now.

The open umbrella on the bed is a fun discovery. Either the roof leaks over the bed or someone was pretending they were at the beach.

Lots of great photographic subjects in this set, but I especially like how you were able to make such a striking composition out of 13.
