I was thinking, guys...
Would it be a great idea to leave behind some sort of signature about UER in abandonments to others explorers?
Something like
"So are you an Urban Explorer also? Go to WWW.UER.CA and share your photos and stories with us there. Please disregard this letter if you're the property owner or a cop."

Worst idea in the entire history of ideas.

It's not the worst idea in the history of ideas, but it's still a pretty terrible one.

This will most certainly work. Cops have to be official and law abiding and if an official looking letter tells them to discregard it they will have to.

I found this site from some highly informational grafiti that listed a members name and the date they visited a location along with the URL. It was very effective advertising and I woudl recommend it for future use to bring more people like me to this facinating site!

Not bagging on you AZ, but generally anything that even MIGHT attract cops to UER would seem to be a bad idea. They know about this site, probably no need to exacerbate the situation.

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.

I was just searching on the line and saw an article about some abandoned places in Atlanta, and saw about a group called SPECTRE. So I google searched, and POOF. Ended up in here.

My cousin and I have been into Urban Exploration for a while, but had trouble finding specific places. She found this site and sent it to me, and I made an account 5 minutes later!

I was searching "Abandoned Places in Mass" on google, and came across this.
I actually didn't think that walking around and exploring abandoned buildings and sites to be an actual hobby.
Glad I found this place filled with people with the same interests as me.

I swear I read somewhere that in the 80s Cave Clan members would leave behind cassettes in plastic bags with recordings on them deep in drains and out of the way places of abandonments to reach out to other explorers.
I think that's pretty cool but with the internet you really don't need to do things like that.
