A couple weeks ago I heard that the IDS will receive a reroof next summer (2014).
That means doors will be unlocked with a crew going up and down you may be able to innocently wander up quick.

Is that what that means? I didn't know they planned on hauling in the new roof through the front door.

I managed to get up there about 3 years ago. They have an insane amount of security near the top floors... you would b very surprised... I was able to make some friends and figure it out...
Also the freight elevator does not go to the top floor.

Back in '96 or so, a friend and I simply walked into the elevators and went up to the 50th floor or so. Absolutely no problem whatsoever. A janitor up there even showed us to a great window to look out of!
Times change, mostly for the worse...

Just last summer, we took the elevator to the top floor, and the same thing happened! Times haven't changed!
