I tried this location a couple days ago, no luck. My friend and I parked in a nearby neighborhood and the second we stepped out of our car, we were stopped by a very angry woman who assumed we were going to simply walk up to the fence around the property and hop it. Without either of us saying a single word about anything (hell, we could have been going to taco bell) she started pulling out her phone and threatened to call the police. We kindly said we would leave, but she kept threatening us. This location is VERY close to an elementary school, a church, and a juvenile hall, and apparently the neighbors are not ok with people being around it. After deciding that it was not the day to check it out, we talked to some locals and they said that the jail is on heavy police watch, and kids get arrested there all the time. How much of this is true, I'm not sure. Just putting this out there for anyone who wants to check this location out, because it looks like a really great place. I'll be back for round two.

Cool! It's an eerie feeling being behind bars watching your video. The closest I've been personally to exploring a prison was exploring a police station in July 2013, including all the cell blocks. That video is here if you're interested:

I'm standing in front of this jail right now, and I just saw 4 people walk into it in a sneaky manner. Was it one of you guys?

I was in there early May. Almost got caught by the cops. Be super-careful, and park away from the jail. There are (were?) a couple of holes in the fence. it is a great building, but beware the cops. They patrol regularly. I also think nosy neighbors report trespassers.
