Blown away. Both by the smell, and the sharpness in these images.
These are the first roll in an ongoing experiment in Caffenol to test and prove (or disprove) the theory that the cheaper the instant coffee, the better developing power it has. This was developed using the Caffenol-C-M recipe, using $5.00 Folgers Instant Coffee, along with Water, Vit-C powder, and Washing Soda. Shot on Fuji Acros 100 with my Rolleiflex 2.8F (Yellow Filtered).

Here we go, roll 2, same ingredients just using Nescafe ($8.00) this time around. Slightly flatter images tone wise, not as sharp, but still useable results

Roll Three, Davidoff Espresso 57 - the $11.00 bottle and most expensive. It actually produced the cleanest negs, excellent sharpness and fantastic tonal range and depth.

Excellent results. I really like the look of the Nescafe shots. Very even lighting. They almost have an old photo look to them.

Thanks! That's the joys of Caffenol, you can easily customize the developer to get the results you like. Full Blog post can be found here: http://filmphotogr...enol-cm-experiment
