Now with the advent of Winter, it's gonna happen to as all, so let's start a thread. 4 year old nephew came over Wednesday. Coughing and sneezing. We all thought he was just having an allergy attack. Boy were we ever wrong. Like a fool, I let him sneeze all over my tablet and pc. Both Mom and I are sick as dogs. I worked 2 days, but this morning I got home after being forced to do asshole's job last night and damn near passed out. So no work tonight for me. I may end up at the doctor tomorrow. 103 fever and headache from hell. The human petrie dish strikes again.

I HATE this time of year. Usually I can kick a cold within a few days, but this one's been kicking me for 10 days now. Funkiest bug I've ever had.. it's different every day. Started out with a headache, then into my nose, then throat. Then I spent a day coughing. Woke up the next day - cough was completely gone, but I sneezed a eleventy-million times. Sneezing stopped, and now i just feel like I've been punched in the face. Even my teeth hurt. And yes.. I WOULD like some cheese to go with my whine.

I suffer from chronic sinitutus so it never really goes away, but two and a half weeks ago or so I got a really bad sinus infection. Did a round of antibiotics that barely nicked it - the infection has spread to my ears, my left ear is in constant pain my right ear is popping and crunching every time I chew, swallow, sneeze, you name it... Going back to the doctor this week Thanks for the opportunity to bitch about it!

I feel your pain. I have this myself along with chronic ear infections...I'm at the point where the doctor doesn't really want me to take any more antibiotics...so I'm shit out of luck unless it's so bad that it might put me in the hospital. There's a trick you can try, I use sudafed and chlorpheniramine maleate (chlortrimeton brand name) tablets at least once daily. Usually this will keep everything draining and will keep the infections away unless I get sick. My problem is poor drainage from my ears and my sinuses. This usually helps a lot.

i am asthmatic so chest colds are a special brand of joy for me. I am suffering through what I am calling respiratory ebola... the coughing has not stopped for over a week. Periods of sneezing, out of breath, coughing brownish-greenish globs of who know what. Other than that, i really don't feel all that bad. Good appetite, energy level is about right (for me... that means moss has more ambition). i hate getting sick.

I had a throat thing a month or so back, was the worst sore throat I've ever had. Started with a weird tickle, then extreme dizziness for a day (or two) if I got up from laying down or tried to put on my shoes the entire room would shift - counterclockwise - sort of like those star trail photos. Luckily the feeling sick part didn't last long. Felt completely better after a few days, aside from the coughing and phlegm buildup, which continued for weeks. Causing everyone to treated me like a leper.
