Federal agents raided a medical marijuana dispensary in unincorporated Lake Elsinore on Tuesday, July 17, for the second time in three months. Drug Enforcement Agency agents seized marijuana from Compassionate Patients Association, in the 17500 block of Grand Avenue, Tuesday morning, said Karen Ann Jackson, the dispensary's president. The agents didn't take any money or paperwork and no arrests were made, Jackson said. She said they told her marijuana is illegal under federal law, despite what the state law allows, and they told her to shut down. The storefront collective was first raided by agents in April. Jackson, who took over the dispensary after the raid in April, said she didn't know if it would reopen. |

This really sucks. I've been to this establishment many times when I lived in Lake Elsinore. They are all really friendly, informative and honest people. The donation rates were always fair for the area. They had meds ranging from top shelf all the way to low end budget friendly. But I'm sure they will reopen soon and continue the great fight. Best wishes to CPA
