This is a light I made with a 12V LED car lamp. It's powered by 3 x 3.7V 18650 li-ion batteries. I've placed it in a glass jar which makes it very though, waterproof and floating, very handy for draining. It should have an autonomy of about 9hrs. According to the manufacturer the led bulb should produce 180 lumens.

That's cool! Feel like listing the parts you've used, for anyone who might want to try it themselves?

Altogether it was 18usd. The batteries of course where the most expensive (12usd).

I also used an old flashlight switch, hot glue and some tape to keep the wires in place.

I like it. The only thing I would mod is to make the switch(water proof)on the outside of the lid. I would also go with a plastic jar so it didn't shatter when I drop it. Cuz I would drop it.

The question is not when are we gonna stop, It's who's gonna stop us?
