Well christmas is coming up and I could use a new headlamp.
I have the old Raovac headlamp

And this is the 20th century now. I should have a CREE headlamp.
The new one should have the red LED's because I use that alot.
Hi/Lo beam would be nice. ~150 lm

Any suggestions?

EDIT: I could just get the new model http://www.amazon....=1323205781&sr=8-6

I've gone through a few different headlamps over the years but finally settled on my Princeton Tec Apex and havent looked back since. The light output is quite good, its reasonably conservative on batteries and its highly durable. Im very tough on my equipment and its never let me down. Highly recommended!

I agree with terapro about the Princeton Tec lights, they are very solid and will last forever. I still have the one an ex gave me 6 years ago. Despite a duct-taped seal it still works perfect.

I recently bought this quad as an upgrade and I like it just as well. The price is right too.

I have a Fenix HP10.

I have:

Cliff-dived with it, dropped it from 5 stories up, gone swimming with it, took it on every draining trip ever...and it has never let me down.

I love this light
