| | | Hey everybody. I've been into old buildings for years, and I've crept around in a few of them, but never really pursued this as a hobby until very recently. I'm originally from Portland, OR, but recently moved to Syracuse, NY. No offense to any 'Cuse natives, but I'm glad there's so many cool old buildings around because I'm bored out of my mind here otherwise. I've done some exterior-only visits to quite a few places in the area and really want to get inside a couple in particular in the near future. I'd also be totally interested in meeting up with other people in the area and doing some exploring (I'd love to get over to Rochester soon, both for buildings and just to visit and see the city). Hit me up if you're around the finger lakes or anywhere else in the area (Watertown or Oswego, too!). One thing I never thought to do before was take photos of any buildings I went in, but I hope to start bringing the camera along and having something to share. Thanks for reading!

| | | Hi, My name is Mike. I live in the Bronx sometimes and Queens sometimes and in my van sometimes. I have explored things in the past, like the steam tunnels and the clock tower when I was an undergrad at my college in the Bronx, a tunnel on the West Side, the high-line before it was a park, and some islands between Rikers and the Bronx where you can find some nice abandoned buildings and Xrays of old TB patients, some creepy abandoned floors in an old mansion in the South Bronx, an abandoned subway station in Brooklyn, and some other abandoned bunkers and structures throughout the city and the world. I also explored the catacombs under paris with some friends a few years back, and had my maps burned up by some crazy cataphiles who bricked up our exits and ran away giggling. I am here because I want to find some other New Yorkers who like to explore things, and maybe some people who know a bit about exploring storm drains without getting killed. Ill attach a few old pictures of some explorations... I don't usually bring my camera along with me but I'm sure I can dig up some more pictures somewhere to post on here... It's been a while since I've seen a new place and I'd love to meet some people who have some spots they'd like to share. Underground Above Ground On an island

| | | Hello UER community, My name is Todd, and I am from and currently live in Wisconsin. I have recently been introduced to the UE community and hobby/activity, and I am excited to pursue this interest. I am eager to learn more about the philosophies of the variety of explorers here, and I am looking forward to contributing my experiences to this community. I have been on a few explorations recently with the guidance of my good friend Relik. I have him to thank for introducing me to this whole thing. Aside from UE, I love exploring nature, hiking, and camping as well. However, my biggest passion is music, which I am finally committing to pursue with serious intentions. I am looking forward to getting to know you all. Thank you for the accepting me into this community!

| | | Hello everyone, Just moved to London recently and I've become interested in UE around the same time. I've done some very minor exploration myself in the past and am always interested in odd little places off the beaten track. I'm particularly interested in underground sites and infiltrations (London seems to be particularly good for these from what I've read). One thing that I've been asking around about is how do people find others to explore with? I know a couple of people who are vaguely interested, but none of us really have the relevant skills or experience. I'm really looking for any advice on how to find other people who might be more experienced or even an offer to come along with some people if anyone's around London! Any comments or advice about this, or just anything you'd like to tell a new explorer would be greatly appreciated

| | | Hi everyone, my name is Daniel, and I hope to contribute to these forums as much as possible and to hopefully provide more content here. I live in the little of Monument, Colorado, and I love to travel and explore new places. I'm history nerd, which i guess is an addendum to why I like to explore, and I enjoy obscure old music, i'm mostly into progressive and punk rock, and grunge. I also enjoy reading, and my favorite book has to be 1984, until something better comes along, that is.
