Realized i never posted this up here. I had a chance to be a tank "crew member" of a WW2 M5A1 Stuart tank up at a machine gun shoot in Wyoming. The tank is fully functional(legally permitted for those that think otherwise). The main gun is a 37mm cannon and it can hold 3 .30 cal m1919 machine guns. One of the vendors loaned us a m1919 to shoot off of the anti aircraft mount. Figured you guys would get a kick out of it, not sure why i never posted it here! What do you think?

NICE! ive been to a few machine gun shoots- they are always fun! last time out they put a little bit too much terranite and when the car it was packed in, blew carparts onto the shooters and crowd. "oops- maybe that was a little too much" said the guy next to me as we watched the shooters and watchers duck for cover...

Cdevon, I know the Knob Creek shoot you're talking about. Right after we got back from Iraq that year, my Platoon Sergeant went there. He was up in the front rows of the crowd, got nailed in the arm by a piece of flying car.

nope, sorry. never been to knob creek. this was at hernando sportsmans complex in florida, about 30 miles or so north of tampa on us 19.
