 | Introduction, and brain spew

| I'm not sure how many people read these journals, but whatevs. I think I'll start with an introduction. You can call me Nisska or Lyss. I'm 24. I did a lot of UEing in HS but then life got in the way, and blah, blah, blah. The usual excuses. I'm in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, so there's obviously no shortage of places to explore around here.
I don't know why I stopped, it's something I've done all my life. I just never knew there was a name for it. I want to get back into it again, and I figure getting introduced to the local MSP, and BBS community would be a good way to get started again. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be attending Mouser Week XII coming up at the end of the month. I've been lurking UER for a while just living vicariously through the pictures, but it's no longer enough. I need more.
I'm an amateur photographer (Who isn't on this board?!) and I need to get out there and get back to what I love. The abandonments inspire me when I write too. It's an atmosphere that I love. It's the reason I'm such a huge Silent Hill fan.
From what I've noticed while lurking, the community is amazing and very accepting. I've never seen such tolerant community. It's really cool to see those little rainbow flag icons that the members have that signify those that either are GLBT or have GLBT friends. I'm transgendered, Male to Female. So I'm female with male bits. It's nice to feel accepted without having to fight for it for once. I doubt anyone will but, if anyone is curious about anything in that area they can feel free to ask.
I'm excited to get a bit more involved and back underground. Cheers!
