I'm looking for a good 1xAA keychain light. Recommendations?

I had a tiny little keychain light that you had to twist to turn on, but it was prone to twisting open by itself so it drained batteries, and now the head's fallen all the way off and gotten lost. So I'm looking for a design that won't turn on or fall apart accidentally. Also, it used some weird flat battery, and I want one that uses something more ubiquitous. AAA is common and smaller than AA, but all my other lights are AA, so I'd like my keychain to be AA as well in order to keep things simple and standardized.

How's the Quark Mini? Fenix LD15? Others? Are they even small enough to qualify as "keychain" lights? I keep my keys on a caribiner on a belt loop so it doesn't really have to be tiny.

The Quark Mini has huge power for the size, and it works well enough on a keychain. The anodization will be chipped some by keys, but that won't affect function.

I have found this little light much to my liking. Except when I bought it it was $8

Anyone have recommendations for reliable 1xAA lights that aren't DealExtreme gambles? Wondering what other good brands there are besides Fenix and 4Sevens/Quark.

I used to be particularly partial to JetBeam! Must admit, thought, I've bought nothing but quarks in recent times.

There are some cool things around. I'd probably check out:

Zebralight SC51

JetBeam Jet I Pro

Sunwayman C10A

And Nitecore has some cool stuff. One of their older models is the basis for that DX one:

Ooh, that does look nice. I like that there seems to be a call for lower-powered 1xAAA lights these days, seeing as I usually have one on my keyring.

Yep they're pretty rad. Some are pricey though for being a small xAAA light. Like the T5S was around $40-45. IMO you could buy a better xAA light for that.

I just got the Nitecore T2s ($24-25) and love it so far, makes for a nice keychain light. I replaced the keyring thing with a more sturdy one, but other than that its nice solid metal.
