| | | fuck em. Was going through the Daniel Boone National Forest today on the way back from Toronto. The speed limit was 55, I had the cruise set on 60. Coming off of a hill, I got up to 73. Was pulled over. Now, I have no prior violations. This dick takes my license & insurance. He comes back and without looking at me, tells me that I need to pay them $189. So, I'm like FML. The shitty part is that it's a $36 ticket, but there's around $140 in court costs. Now, in Tennessee if you pay the ticket without going to court, you don't pay court costs. But, apparently in the great commonwealth of Kentucky, this is not the case. So, I'll probably head back up to BFE at the end of the month and fight for it. I should win, considering that the car I was driving, according to the ticket, was a silver 2007 Honda Accord registered in Kentucky. I've never driven such a car, and the plates shouldn't even match up. /rant

| a couple of years ago, I got out of a ticket in this manner. The ticket didn't have my name on it, nor did it have year, make or model of my car correct... just the license plate number. Also, don't feel bad. New York State, you pay the ridiculous surcharges whether you go to court or not.
