And therein, as the bard would tell us, lies the rub.

It sounds classier if you pronounce it "tray-passing"

| | | Posted by Sad_cactus Hey guys! New to this forum and fairly new to urbex. Mostly explored outside of Edmonton, like rural Alberta sorta stuff, but almost nothing inside of Edmonton. The only location I know of is the plant, just wanted to know if it's still worth checking out still, considering how long its been there and how well known it is.
| Hey, welcome to UER. We'd love to see some pictures of where you've been before. As far as whether or not that spot is worth checking out, I haven't been in some time. Why not go poke around and let us know what you find?

| Didn't take too many photos, but most of what ive seen is just small town stuff, like abandoned gas stations and barns, a couple of bridges with walkways underneath, and a couple of houses in counties outside of edmonton. Ive also been looking into old coal mine locations, trying to find an opening to one but i doubt ill find one lol. i dont know how top add pictures Also does anyone have any tips for the plant? Tips with parking, shouyld i go at night, if i should bring anything specific? Everything in small towns you can just walk to it in broad daylight and go inside and you'd be fine.

| | | Happy New Year fellow Edmonton crew! Back home again for the holidays and have been cruising around checking status of old locations and seeking new ones. Today went to check out this house in parkland county I used to explore around 10 years ago when it was in a construction limbo due to my guess financial issues and The house was around 60% done. Ironically one of Edmontons other famous "abandoned mansions" is on the same street. Last we were there construction was just beginning to resume in around 2014 ish so stopped visiting. The carpentry and wood work in the house was absolutely stunning beyond comprehension to say the least so today driving by to see only a pile of rubble and ashes left I was in shock. Found a Realtor video from a couple years ago with the house seemingly finished and staged and then a second video showing it early this year completely derelict and vandalized to the extreme being sold for much cheaper and now for sale as just land. From what ive found it sounds like there was a death in the family and the home was never lived in, would love to find out more on the story and what happened in the end causing the fire. anybody ever been here or heard anything? Video of house In its glory : https://www.youtub...atch?v=Aji0PcUy-gQHouse in sad shape year or two later: https://www.youtub...ktop&v=cENdvEDkKXA Cant seem to attach pics to thread due to size but heres links for pics I took today. https://ibb.co/S3vTHYYhttps://ibb.co/wS3Jpxfhttps://ibb.co/g44mvsShttps://ibb.co/FXcN8Gv
