This thing is Awwwesommmme!

* Fits easily into confined spaces
* Up to 15 hours of burn time
* Fully expendable mast with 360° rotating head
* 2000 lumens of brightness
* Maintenance free LED Array with life expectancy of 50,000
* Low battery warning system
* Waterproof rubber activation switch
* Mast extension lock

The Pelican 9430 Remote Area Lighting System is designed with LED technology to provide a better quality of light along with high reliability and low energy consumption. The 9430 RAL features a compact single head that fits easily into confined spaces. Pelican 9430 includes a silent, rechargeable sealed battery allowing you to work anywhere without the need of a generator. The pole extends to a height of 32" providing up to 2000 lumens of light for any area. Available in black or yellow.

Ok...so 15 hrs of operation at 2000 lumens, and it even will extend 32" on a pole built into the base unit. Is that awesome or what???

Only drawback is that it's $647, but hey, awesome doesn't come cheap.

I was waiting for the downside! I'm guessing it probably weighs a fair bit, too.

The pros do look awesome, but the con of carrying around a car battery all day has got to suck.
