While I have the M1A and AR rig down the way I like it . . .
I have been searching desperately for a chest rig for the 11-87.
Shotgunners?
Anyone have a chestrig that makes them smile?
Been looking at scalable options to carry shotgun ammo on a MOLLE platform, they seem few and far between.
Help the Devil out here.

i have an iwb for the 1911 plus 2 8 round mags in my pockets.. the mini has a oem sling. a simple 6 mag bag for when im in the field. i rarly get to the field. when i do its with the 10/22 or the mini. the mag bag holds 120 rounds. plus a 20 round mag in the mini. for the .22 it holds all 10 10 rounders plus 2 bricks. if i have the winny, the bag hold lots of loos 12ga. but no sling.

I have a nice chest rig that fits over my vest that's set up for the M4 and another for the M1a.
Shotgunning is such a different beast.
For things that go bump in the night, I have a Maxpedition go bag with all the shit one would need, including extra 12-gauge, in it.
Just wanted to put all that gear on a vest for whatever may come up. ;)
This is the best MOLLE shotgun resource I have seen yet:

Old thread, yada yada, but I've recently found a fantastic company by the name of Original SOE Gear making fantastic products.

If you have the need to carry a shotgun for a living or for protection, this small setup seems AWESOME. With this rig you could easily hold up to 24 extra shells on your support side, and still have a general-purpose/admin/dump pouch on your reaction side.

It's not cheap, but that's because it's not CTD Chinese bullshit made for airsoft. It's made for, and used in, combat.

They make a bunch of other awesome rigs. I'd particularly like the Micro M4 rig.
