Troy Science building entry by mikenike605 2/28/2010 11:25 AM
This building is being cleared out for demolishing (or renovation). this is one of those buildings that is one of the original buildings from the early 1900s, it is made of bricks and is complete with pictures of it being one of 5 buildings over looking wheat fields. this building has a machine shop on the east end of it. 3 stories but the 3rd seems to be difficult to get to. I avoided the elevator to keep from attracting attention. basement has an entrance to the steam tunnels and different bits of storage rooms with equipment ready to be taken to the surplus. the building is on constant lock down but if your lucky, during the week people prop the west entrance open for about 4 days and the building is accessible, i want to rig the least conspicuous door to open for me when this entrance is closed.
I didn't have time to explore the 3rd floor so i want to make it back to check out.
Unfortunately the door is locked so i will have to keep an eye out for a good time to infiltrate.
basement has crickets hopping around and doin their thing, the warm basement seems to support them.
asbestos warning in basement maintenance room.
- the ridges in the side of the building make it fun to free climb ( I like to show off to people and scare some passers bye as I jump down from the precipice above the west entrance.
the building is generally cleaned out, the left overs are just the undesired stuff.
