I love the smell of burnt ash and dog in the morning.

Contained herein:
The Adventures of Aurelie, AnAppleSnail, BOX, Cossette and Nitro the l33t Urbex Dog.

Early one morning, after meeting up with BOX and Cossette on their way to MD, we set out for a location that i had been to many times, and that BOX wanted to revisit.

Cossette had mentioned that she might be bringing along a dog, and i assumed that it was a terrier of some sort.

Nope. Definitely a pitbull.

This presented a dilemma, since i knew that the only feasible way into this location was by climbing a barbed wire fence.

With vague thoughts of somehow tossing the heavy and boisterous dog over,
we set off to find that some kind person had made a huge hole in the fence.
We slid down the muddy slope, dog in tow, and entered the glorious sunlit crumbling industrial goodness.

roofdog is go! (yes, he climbed out a window and up a ladder)

After the roof, we went down into the darkened bowels of the building to look around some old offices. I knew that this part of the building was being used for storage, but I had never seen or heard anyone down there, so I figured it was okay for the dog to be barking and such.

We had gotten rather split up, though we were still all in the same general area. I heard Apple greet someone loudly, turned a corner and saw an unfamiliar flashlight. BOX and Cossy emerged from the shadows with the dog as two men stepped out and asked us if we were supposed to be here.
"We were looking for our dog, but we found him, and now we're lost."

The men glared at us suspiciously, noting our tactical flashlights (much brighter than theirs), gloves, and D-Slrs.
"Can you show us the way out?"
"How did you get in here?"
"Our dog ran in through a hole in the fence."
I said, putting on my best "Oh, wow, an abandoned factory. What a new and frightening experience!" face.

They then told us to go out the front and crawl under the fence on to the road, which was a sort of strange suggested escape route, letting us go with a
"Don't let us catch you in here again."

fun was had.

Classic excuse. Good work at weaseling out of that. Or, pitbulling. Animals make great excuses. If only I could convince my cats to come UEing with me.

Note: This dog climbs in windows faster than I do, and goes up sketchy stairs much more quickly. Urbexdog is urbex.

I'm just real glad Nitro didnt get hostile with the guys that kicked us out....that could have ended badly....or maybe the fact that there was four of us with a pit bull was why they were not complete assholes

but off the subject of my dog, great set sex-bot

i would put some little booties on the dog. Even just ziplocs with rubberbands, keep the paws clean.

Cool set.

First, that dog is beautiful and awesome.
Second, these pics are great.

I'd be so afraid to let a dog walk around in a place like this for fear of it stepping on a rusty nail or cutting itself on a jagged edge.

he has a habit of ripping off his nails climbing trees, or jumping for the rope. he is pretty solid and i swear feels no pain. He was so happy to go, and had so much fun that well im a sucker for my dog and i was not concerned. actually the only time he got hurt was a lil scrape going up the ladder and he was so hyped I couldnt really stop him from doing so....the dogs kind of intense lol
