-Incompetent tech support.
-Having to call tech support because they're the only ones that have the admin access you need to fix the program that you normally could take care of quickly yourself.
-Finding that calling tech support to 'fix' your simple problem made things worse than before.

I mentioned the ring I bought in another post with a question about UK postal services here, well, I showed the site to my sister this afternoon. I thought she'd like to see where some of the people she idolized as a kid bought their stuff over the years and maybe like to buy something for herself. I honestly thought she'd think it was cool.

She literally had a fit, bitching and whining at me for spending that kind of money and complaining that I have money and she doesn't and that she doesn't wanna see expensive bullshit that SHE can't afford. All I was doing was trying to show her something I thought she might like.

It turned into a "why don't you get a better job" argument. She could have the same job I have, albeit at less money, but still more than she makes right now. She could have been hired when I was, 5 years ago, at the higher pay rate and be making as much or more than I make right now and not have a fucking thing to worry about, but no, she insists that she's fine where she is, making about half of what I make an hour, but insists on bitching about not having any money when I do something nice for myself.

What is it with people?

I don't spend a lot of money on myself. I usually pay off bills or take care of things around the house that need to be fixed with extra money. I had a little extra after getting the car fixed and paying some bills, so I bought myself a birthday present, since it is in a week and a half after all and I get bitched at for it. Grrr.
