All through my childhood my family and neighbors would hike to this location we call "The Old Mill". Not sure what they milled there, but it was probably gold. Not too much left, just a couple of engines, a truck fender, a stove, and a few totally collapsed houses/buildings.

This big red barn sits right at the intersection of 285 & Foxton Road in Conifer, CO. Not to be confused with the Yellow Barn. Bottom floor filled with old doors and wood, a TV and other miscellaneous crap. The upstairs is almost completely empty except for a few chairs, and a couple other things. The loft floor is very well preserved and not scary at all. Very nice piece of Conifer history, as well as my first TRUE UrbEx!
