When you're out being a 1337 urbex0r, how often do you find yourself using your lights?

I was torn between all the time and frequently, but then i realized clipping a mini floodlight and a flashlight to my belt with carabiners and constantly aiming them at stuff means i use them all the time.

I hate flashlights. I really do. I avoid their use at all costs and if I require one it is only for a few minutes while I am travelling towards the light.

I am only here to support you and because I want to start using more artificial light and have no experience with it.

I guess it's time to admit that I have a problem. Headlamp, flashlight tied to my hat, spotlight on a shoulder strap, and 3 other lights I wasn't using at the time. Petlz Tikka XP, 120-lumen light, and 3-million candle flood.

At least I can say that this is (supposedly) my lighting rig for drain video.
Normally I just use a headlamp and the small light. I bring out the bike headlamp and other stuff for shooting and large spaces.

You are too special, Argy! Also, despite your protestations, I suspect you turn out your lights at home at night, and walk around with flashlights instead.

I do use a 3D Mag when I am looking for something in my closet and to flash in the eyes of racoons that are causing problems.

i just got a new light and just thought I'd share how happy I am with it. Ultrafire WF-606A. Damn thing is so bright for an LED. I'm not stuck using a maglite to light up the in front me to check focus, etc.

I pretty much only work at night in the dark. But I also make sure that I'm exploring in full moon conditions. I prefer using my night vision to get around. Plus, flashlights can be a conspicuous bust. I can't tell you how many times I've been exploring a location by moonlight only to get busted once I use a light.
