Thoughts about converting a SureFire 620T to LED?
The bulb blows out while shooting 12 gauge slugs in my 11-87, so it's useless.
If it takes the P60/P61 reflector assembly - I can just drop in this LED conversion with no issues yeah??

Has anyone here done this?
Why did they put a conventional light on a shotgun knowing that the recoil would blow out the light after 10 rounds??

I went this route

viper research X-11

bright as hell, built like a tank and 30mm scope ring compatible.

great service from the factory and a free once a year overhaul (havn't needed it even after slamming it in my truck door several times)

the front bezel is hardened for glass breaking /skull crushing...

scope ring mount

50 mins duty cycle and I garentee it will take shotgun recoil.

I have a mount for my G2L . . . and a pressure remote switch.
I just like it all grouped together.

A local gunshop.Try searching viper x-11 flashlight.
It's made by F.N.
I use mine at work a fair amount, damn thing is really tough as nails. been dropped on cement, slammed in the truck door and just generally beat on.
the thing just keeps on taking it.

I hear ya about the pressure switch though....a nice option to have the momentary on/off.

I think this one is more of a "hand held" rig that just happens to be weapon mountable.
