Hey there,

I'm a guitar player/singer of about 5 years. I'm just starting to get back into jamming after a hiatus(personal issues etc). Problem is, I have lost contact with many of my jamming buddies,them being jerks and rejecting me and such...so anyways is there anyone in the Southern Ontario area that wants to jam? I'm in the Toronto and Hamilton area quiet often.

I'll basically play anything!

I've got a permanent band going already, but just a suggestion, craigslist and torontomusician.com are probably your best bets for finding some peeps to kick out the jams locally. Good luck.

craigslist really is awesome for this stuff, I just found the perfect band to try out for, its hard since Im a female and all I can really do is sing (and not that well) My boyfriend was the one who suggested it and Im really glad he did

I tracked down a couple of folk and other style jamming groups in my area thru the computer and advertisements at music stores.

The two groups i jam with are generally older fellows and i just plunk away on the guitar so it may not be what you are looking for but i am sure they have something like that in your area

Another option is to check out any open mics at the local bars. You can get a real spectrum of talent ,age and style. I am sure you will find the perfect fit in jammin' partners at these events. I have been to a quite a few. Some i liked and some were out of my league but i had fun. It is a great way to get in contact with other musicians and get invited over to there homes for a jam
