abandoned boyscout cabins
entry by Bry

We went on a whim this time. it was all rumour, of an abandoned neighborhood. We asked around for a week, getting a general idea of how to get there. After parking ourselves as awkwardly as possible making it too hard to tow us, we set off down the beach. 40 min. of walking down the beach with the cold wind blowing hard, and we got there. There were about 6 or 7 buildings. Almost none of them have roofs. After asking around the county. We gathered that it was once a camp, for boy scouts and the like. It was built too near the cliffs, and the buildings began falling into the bay. It was abandoned in the mid-80's as far as we could tell from documents and other things found in the cabins. It was worth the walk. And we didnt get towed. :)
