Ok my enthusiasts. apparently I will be the only one to keep this forum alive.

I have purchased a new book, that was suggested as one of many in Eye Spy Magazine. Many of you might not be aware of this publication, but its a wonderful publication for anyone who wants to learn about intel around the world. Its not your Soldier of Fortune dribble.

On to the book.

Street E&E
by Marc "Animal" Macyoung

Dont let the name of this guy fool you, or the back info. This book is filled with not only E&E but great UE tips and tricks. The book ranges from a no nonsense punch dodging for you non fighters, jumping fences, dealing with being chased, etc.

There are two chapters that I might summerise for the UE crowd. The first goes into massive detail about moving over chain link fences, walls etc with great speed.

The second is about disappearing.

I believe I'll leave some info for the book buyers and some for here.

Well this book is pretty damn good. Great info about going over fences etc. I also like the escape and evasion info.

are these regular chain link fences or the ones without the stiff upper bar to grab onto?

He goes over several fences, and how to literarily fly over them. He has some great info. I will post at least his rules up here.

yeah, post some of it. I thought about getting that book once but it had some poor reviews on amazon. Maybe I'll have to check it out after all.

When you thought I wouldnt fill you in. I finally get a day off. Now some of you bitches contribute to the board as well.... please.

You will probably have to right click on the photo and look at each one that way.

essentially the main trick is to get up to the top and vault over the top as best you can. He says if your being chased if you straddle the fence, or mess up you will injure yourself far more then you will vaulting it. This usually means not trying to vault anything over about 8 feet or so. This is where practice comes in.

Also fifty feet of space from your pursuers is required before you attempt a jump.

The first photo has some text that explains the concept of running up a wall instead of trying to jump up. The top part shows how you should move and where to force your kick.
43406.jpg (98 kb, 750x1535)

This photo obviously applies to how your foot or booted foot comes in contact with the wall. Pretty self explanitory.
43407.jpg (95 kb, 770x1500)

You can see here the Author talking about the Center of Gravity of your body. Just remember to get it above the fence.
43408.jpg (78 kb, 775x1495)

Lastly this photo shows that you shouldnt have your thumb close to the fence. He explains that if you jump over with the thumb on the inside your weight can force your hand off the top.

P.S. There will be more when I get some feed back of interest.

this is great stuff .. the picture of the foot positioning on a wall or fence helps out alot ... ive seen friends of mine jump off of walls like that to get a some extra height but all of my attempts to date have failed miserably... im gonna give it a try next time im out to see if i can finally get to a ladder that i cant quite seem to jump up to

i do have one question though ... what about going over/down the fence .. do you just jump over the top, climb down, lower yourself and drop? it says something about his friend flipping over the fence and him going over in a ball .. any pics of that? im having a hard time visualising it, i usually just throw the legs over and climb/drop down

thanks for posting this up man and ill let you know if this cures my little problem of slamming into the wall when i try to jump off it

... well yea actually this is a flashlight in my pocket .. but im still happy to see you

A modified version of this is grabing the fenceand whiping your body sideways across. Its a little easier for me.

that clears things up a bit
"A modified version of this is grabbing the fence and whipping your body sideways across. Its a little easier for me." thats exactly how i do it. i havnt tried the flipping method yet but it seems to me that you would be more likely to stumble when you land if you flip over the fence..the forward momentum could throw you off balance .. and nothing would suck worse that pulling an awesome ninja flip over a fence and then having whoever is chasing you laugh like hell when you faceplant upon landing, but thats where the be prepared to roll part comes in i guess

Just a tip, after you clear the fence or barrier while being pursued, listen for your pursuer to begin his climb. Now is a perfect time to draw a firearm and engage the target for he has had to holster his weapon to climb and he cannot draw very well while in mid-climb. Unfortunately, this works both ways, he may decide to light you up while you are scaleing the fence, wall because he knows that he cannot scale it himself. So get over it quick and don't present a good target once you are on the other side.

The book actually runs over a little bit about it. This forum also is not only for UE info but spy/covert work.
