I remembered something good
entry by Gatsby

While UER was down, Adam_Zelotes and I checked out an old building on the edge of Dinkytown that both of us had been eyeing in the past. The 4-story structure was not terribly interesting as a whole, but the roof was accessible (which is always welcomed) and the basement offered something that was never witnessed by either of us. Apparently, it was flooded at the time winter arrived, so ice formed. At some point, the water remaining beneath the frozen layer receded, leaving the ice to "float" in midair! Of course, in some spots the weight was too great for the phenomenon to continue, so these sections collapsed to create an arrangement of giant slabs of jagged ice, menacingly threatening to kill you if you slipped and fell. This was the state the basement was in when Adam & I decided to pay the building a visit. ;) We both slipped & fell many times. It was particularly funny because when we landed, the sound of the shattering ice was SO loud - it was like a movie because it was so exaggerated. Lots of laughing followed each fall.
Once back out of the building, we still had to climb over the fence to be semi-legal (we would still be on railroad property). Just before hopping the fence, I stated aloud, "Man! There has been more falls on this mission than I've ever witnessed before!". Immediately after I said that, Adam slipped and fell rather violently. Even though he was probably in pain, he laid there laughing hysterically for a moment.
